M.R. Field on Around Des Moines gives Planned Parenthood an opportunity to showcase their new headquarters location.
Andy Drish asks, “At what point between college and getting that first job do people lose their ambition?” (Hint: it doesn’t necessarily happen between college and the first job. If you don’t have the tools and the attitude to navigate the system and move up, and you happen to find yourself working with autocratic leaders who do not value your input, your ambition gets… well, smothered.)

Brett Rogers dives into the structure of the price of a gallon of gasoline. And guess what (surprise!) It’s not the oil companies’ profits that make up the largest share.
And speaking of the high cost of fuel, the Des Moines-based family that’s crossing the US in a vegetable oil-powered camper just finished up some “green” remodeling of their rig, and I daresay it’s the home-iest looking RV I’ve ever seen! Great work!

Great post. Love the links, especially the one to “Home Sweet Home.” This is something I want to do, so I can live vicariously through them.
Thanks!
Sandy
