Indianola Bike Night: “Bike Down to I-Town!”

It’s been a busy weekend - rode down to Indianola for “bike night” on Friday, it was the largest crowd I’ve ever seen down there. The square and surrounding streets were all lined with bikes, down all sides and rows down the middle… hundreds (couple thousand?) people - wow!! - and some neat live bands, including a bluegrass band down by the music store off the square. I took several pictures, but unfortunately unless you can get “up high” there’s no way to capture the number of bikes or the size of the crowd. Anyway, here’s a little of what it looked like:

Hi Jodi - it was a blast! They’ve had really good weather this year for all their events so far - knock on wood! - I think there’s one more, 3rd Friday in August. Also, East Village Bike Night is coming up this next Friday - that’s always a good one too! ~ J.
