Metro Arts networking opportunity for artists is August 20

The Metro Arts Alliance invites artists of all disciplines to a networking meeting:

Monday, August 20, 2007
Des Moines Art Center, 4700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The focus of this meeting will be “opportunities and venues for artists to exhibit and perform.” Our special guests will be Stephen King, Executive Director for The Des Moines Arts Festival, Sue Stookey, Stookey Companies, ArtsFest Midwest, and a representative for Metro Arts Two Rivers Expo and Art Fence. They will be sharing information about each of their events. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
