Downtown Art Center previews ‘Sign Language’ August 23

The Des Moines Art Center Downtown is hosting a Preview Party for its next exhibition, Sign Language:

Admission: $5 Non-members, FREE for Art Center members

Sign Language explores art inspired by the vernacular of signs in the urban landscape and will run August 24 - November 23 downtown. The exhibition includes the artists Jean-Michel Basquiat, Ashley Bickerton, Robert Cottingham, Keith Haring, Jenny Holzer, Robert Indiana, Margaret Kilgallen, Barry McGee, Michael C. McMillen, Bruce Nauman, Tim Noble & Sue Webster, Claes Oldenburg, Julian Opie, Rigo 23, Kay Rosen, and James Rosenquist. Visit the Art Center website for complete details.
