School Board Election Results 2007

Patty Link and Jonathan Narcisse won seats on the Des Moines School Board in Tuesday’s election, ousting incumbent Marc Ward. Link received 29.25 percent of the vote in light turn-out, and Narcisse received 22.03 percent with all precincts reporting, according to unofficial results posted on the Polk County Auditors website around 10 p.m.

Andrew Martin and Trent Murphy captured seats on the Ankeny School Board with 38.45% and 34.23% respectively; Mark Lyons, Susan Moritz and H. Milton Cole, Jr. took seats on the West Des Moines Board; Doug Gulling, Cate Newburg and Mark Wierson took seats in Urbandale; and Karen Coaldrake, Mike Farrell and Tracey Orman took seats in Johnston.
