My brain is turning to mush… the t.v. must be on!

I’ve spent a fair amount of time this week in front of the television. I don’t do that often, but I’ve been craving mindless down-time for the past week or so and have been watching more. Here are a few notes from this week’s watching:
- I seem to discover a lot of programs in re-runs that are very very good but that I never watched when they were actually on the air. My absolute favorite in this category is “Frasier,” which I’ve been watching in re-runs for years but hardly ever watched when it was “must-see.” A couple other faves in this category are “Crossing Jordan” and “Scrubs.”
- I really dig the true-crime-solving shows. I’ve been a fan of “Cold Case Files,” and right now my favorite is “The First 48.”
- I can’t get enough of fun junk shows like “I Love the 70’s” on VH-1.
- I have a few dirty jobs I’d like to assign to Mike Rowe.
- I recently found myself riveted to train wrecks called ”I Love New York 2″ and ”America’s Next Most Smartest Model.” Good lord, this stuff is absolute crap. And I couldn’t look away.
*sigh* I think it’s time to get back to blogging - it’s better for my brain!
