DMweblife’s first Blog Talk Radio show!

I finally have a day off from work and nothing pressing to do - HOORAY!! So I decided to take the opportunity to experiment with Blog Talk Radio, the web-based service that lets you produce your own podcast or call-in program. The topic of my first show is the Glenn Beck Christmas Show that my family and I attended last night at the Seven Flags Event Center. Since I’m still learning how to use the service, I used the shortest program length available by default (15 minutes) which may be a little long for a single-topic show… anyway, you be the judge - here’s the webpage for my first-ever BlogTalkRadio show… you can either listen to the file or download it as an MP3!
Looking forward to doing more of these… I can also have listeners call in to join the conversation, so sometime soon we’ll have a little DMweblife call-in show!

Thanks for your talk about Glenn Beck. I really liked your discussion about the 7 Flags Center. I thought about the tent in Breckenridge, Colorado where I watched a performance of the National Youth Repertory orchestra about a year and a half ago. The floor of that tent was also flat and the chairs on which we sat were made out of hard plastic. It was hard to see the concert, but I enjoyed it.
Too bad Beck didn’t speak at C. Y. Stephens Auditorium in Ames–they have great seats, great seating arrangements on three balconies and fantastic acoustics. If he’s as popular as you say, I’m sure he would have filled the Stephens with little trouble.
CY Stephens would have been a great venue for this show, as would Hoyt Sherman… I assume the Rockettes prevented him from just using the Civic Center
