State Legislature convenes 2008 session

Last fall, I wondered aloud if anyone was polling you to find out what issues you wanted the State Legislature to cover in its 2008 session. You had some interesting thoughts, but a common thread was the desire to see a ban on smoking in public places. I’ve also predicted that we’ll see a call for a law mandating helmets for motorcyclists, and I’ve also heard we’ll see some new form of the “Fair Share” bill they tried to pass last year. Before the calendar fills up with their pet projects, though, just thought I’d check in with you-all and see if there’s anything you want to add to the list!
